Justin spent a year off travelling before reading history at Bristol. He began his legal career as a paralegal at Clifford Chance, one of the big five City law firms, where he was information officer to the Capital Markets team for a year before attending law school at the College of Law, Lancaster Gate.
Justin returned to Clifford Chance to complete his training contract and qualified in 1994. On qualification he remained at Clifford Chance and joined the International Finance Practice.
In 1997, Justin joined Payne Hicks Beach in order to re-train as a family lawyer. He was made an associate in 2000. |

He moved out of London in 2001 and joined Wilsons, based in Salisbury, where he met Harriet Fallon. He was made a partner in 2006.

Justin and Harriet took the decision to develop their practice on the niche model by starting their own firm in summer 2008.

Justin lives in Lambourn on the Berkshire Downs. Away from the law he rides, shoots, cooks, skis and travels, and has interests in racehorses and eventers. He served 14 years in the Territorial Army.
